Instructions for St. Jean CNV4 --- Quebec Short Hops
Creator: Léon Louis

Québec Short Hops contains airfields in Québec with the VFR pilot in mind. They are not actual representations of the way they really are. Most are fictitious and some are from memory from when I was still able to fly.

I also add to the surrounding scenery where it is possible, so, look around you.

My goal is to make visiting Quebec interesting and trying to bring life to each airfield and its surroundings. I have no photographs to copy to make these. I intend to add a lot more, spreading out from Montréal because this is where I did most of my flying in the good old days, many moons ago.

If you have pictures or info on any Québec airfields (note, airfields not airports) please send them to me and I will either keep for future use or to make corrections.

Please bear in mind that all scenery creators are limited to the tools and material at hand and we sometimes have to invent and substitute to make it nice.

This release consists of:

CNV4 - St.Jean, Quebec,situated about 30 miles South of Montreal. I have seen great air shows there and,
during my flying years flew in often for coffee.

Please visit my web site now and then to find out what goes on.

======================================

All the material contained in these files are issued free and no one may make money with them or any part there in in any way.

These files should not cause damage to your computer. However if you use them, you do so at your own risk and I cannot be held responsible for any damage.

=======================================

I wish to thank the following for use of their macros or other material to complete these files:

Tom Hiscox and Brian McWilliams for the program and textures "Airport for Windows",- Rafael Garcia Sanchez for his "Nova textures",

Larry Farmer - Morton Rupp - Tom-Fica - jimmy R martin - Peter Tanner - Frank Betts - Doc George - Robert Palmer and Bill Dick - John de Langristin - D. Levin - Harald Kraft - Tom Burnett - Arne Kintzel - Ole EgholmHope - I hope I did not forget anyone, if so, I am truly sorry.

For this scene, I have made many new aircraft macros from FS98 planes. I intend to issue these in small series or categories for other scenery designers to use.

I wish to thank all the creators of those aircrafts. Due to the number of macros used here, please forgive me not to list all of them. As the macros will be released in small groups by category, it will be more feasible then for me to give proper recognition.

I wish to thank particularly TOM CONSTANTINE a creator of most beautiful sceneries. He has helped me everyday and instructed me on using the Airport program. He has been most generous of his time and knowledge to help me do these first sceneries. I owe it all to you Tom, thanks. Tom also made the 'api' files for a few of the above aircraft macros.

I wish to thank also Morton Rupp and Lauren Robison for their support and Lauren for the use of some of her sound files.

Morton was a great help when trying to set those float planes on the dollies (craddle) and giving me "carte blanche" on modifying some of his macros for my own use.
